Yep, that pretty much sums up Lubbock’s job market. There are no jobs for IT or programmers really. The only real places you can find work is either with Texas Tech or Tyler Tech Incode. I really have no desire to go to Tyler Tech. I do not see it much of a real opportunity to go there. I am currently  working on my own web business and hoping that will finish up soon (sometime the end of this year). We shall see. My other options are to find work in Dallas/Ft. Worth or Austin. I like Lubbock, but Lubbock has no job opportunities. It’s sad. Real sad. Anyways, sorry about the delay on this comic. I know it’s way over due. My name is David…and I toot. Yes, I am guilty. Who isn’t guilty of tooting? I mean we all do it. Some do it in public of others and some hold it till their face turns blue. Me, well around loved ones I let it out with no thinking of any consequences at all. Around others, well you can probably see me politely excusing myself and running outside and letting out a mean toot! It’s part of being human. I think it’s funny, but there are some that let out a horrid foul smell one. Ick. I like to think mine smell like wonderful red roses in the blowing by the winds in the middle of spring… I am told otherwise by my girl. I think her nose is too sensitive. heh. Anyways, it’s late, as usual. I need sleep. Enjoy!

This is me every morning. I used to be worse. I used to stay up late till 2-3 a.m. Now I somewhat get sleep. On average I go to sleep around 1 a.m. and wake up around 7 a.m., but I am usually late for work and my entire day starts off just late. I am a night owl. I feel I get more done at night with no distractions, no one bothering me etc…I used to drink lots of coffee while going to school. I would drink it in the morning, afternoon, and at night. I used to hang out at the local Denny’s, Ihop, and Daybreak’s here in Lubbock to study and enjoy a cup of coffee. That would explain why I would stay up so late working. I had so much caffeine in my body that I couldn’t go to sleep till around such late hours. I would be groggy in the morning, but that is how it is. You stay up late you end up groggy. Speaking of which, it’s 1 a.m. and I better be good and go to sleep somewhat early/late. Anyways, enjoy the strip. Night all!

If anything is promised to us at all… that would be death and taxes. Owning a new home is tough. I mean tough. On top of that it is expensive. Since I moved in to my new home my wallet has witnessed heartache from being separated from its true loves, that would be Mr. Ben Franklin and Mr. George Washington. All I am left with is Abe Lincolns. Terrible I tell you. Property taxes are crazy for the house I live in. I love my home, but come on. I am paying high property taxes due to an elementary being located near my house. I don’t even have kids. Not fair I tell you. If you knew what my property taxes were that I had to pay recently you would have a heart attack. I could go on with this little rant, but really I am tired. So, this comic illustrates my frustration. Enjoy!

New bunny shoes! Who doesn’t want a pair? I know I could use a new pair. I have a pair of bad house slippers that are literally torn from lots of use and a attention starved dog. I should post a picture of my slippers, but really I am too lazy to do that right now. I’ll describe them instead. They are Texas Tech pair of slippers whose soles are have holes in them literally and dog fur all over them. I am too cheap to buy a new pair, even though they cost like 10 dollars. It’s the economy I tell you! Anyways, I thought I would post this up in hopes I too get new bunny slippers or something of the kind. Well, it’s late and I need sleep. Night all.

I really do not feel like going to work tomorrow. Especially Mondays. I so dread this day of the week. It just reminds me that I have to go back and redo all of this poo again. Life can be so redundant and Mondays remind me this. Damn you Mondays! Well, I hope each of you have a happy and productive week. Drink coffee if you feel you need that extra pep. I know I will.

Hi, I never really formally introduced myself. My name is David and I am a web developer. I mainly write web applications using .Net and various Microsoft technologies. Other than program for a living I draw/sketch on my spare time. I decided to create this site mainly to share my creativity with my friends and you. As for Gentoos you may have noticed that my gentoo have looked different in each comic strip. This is because I am still trying to find my style in drawing my characters. So, do not be suprised if one day they look a certain way and then the next day they end up looking like something else. Hopefully they are still gentoo when it’s all said and done. I am still working on it. So, please be patient with me. I hope you enjoy what I have posted so far. I do enjoy posting them. It is a great outlet for me outside of what I do professionally. Lovely Lubbock, Texas… O how the weather changes so much here. It is never too hot or not to cold because its both within one day. If you enjoy unpredictable weather then Lubbock is the place for you. I had to draw a comic about it today due to how it was so nice today and ended being a thunderstorm within a few hours. It is hailing outside and my dog is probably drowning from this weather. Gah! Damn you Lubbock. Anyways, enjoy today’s strip!
